Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the services provided by Pioneer in Veterinary Diagnostics (PVD), operated through pvdindia.org. By using our diagnostic services, doorstep sample collection, or accessing our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Terms
- PVD provides veterinary diagnostic testing services including clinical pathology (blood tests, biochemistry panels), RT-PCR, ELISA, histopathology, DNA and genetic testing, microbiology, and culture sensitivity testing.
- Diagnostic reports generated by PVD are intended to assist qualified veterinary professionals in making clinical decisions. Our reports do not constitute medical advice, prescriptions, or treatment recommendations.
- We strongly recommend that all diagnostic results be reviewed and interpreted by a licensed veterinarian before any treatment decisions are made for your animal.
- PVD reserves the right to refuse a diagnostic request if, in our professional judgement, the sample quality or test requirement falls outside our scope of service.
- Service availability, test menus, and turnaround times may vary based on operational capacity, partner laboratory schedules, and force majeure circumstances.
2. Sample Collection & Handling
- PVD offers free doorstep sample collection within Pune city limits. For locations outside Pune metro, courier-based pickup is available and nominal shipping charges may apply.
- Our trained technicians follow standard veterinary sample collection protocols. Samples are handled, stored, and transported under temperature-controlled conditions to ensure integrity.
- The client (animal owner, veterinarian, or authorised representative) is responsible for providing accurate animal details, medical history, and any relevant information at the time of sample collection.
- PVD is not liable for compromised results arising from incorrect sample identification, pre-analytical errors on the client side, or delayed sample handover beyond scheduled pickup times.
- For courier-based collections, the client must follow PVD-provided packing and shipping instructions. PVD is not responsible for sample degradation during transit if packaging guidelines are not adhered to.
3. Diagnostic Reports
- PVD is committed to delivering accurate, scientifically validated diagnostic results. All tests are processed at our certified partner laboratories — Chaitanya Laboratory and Verity Vet Laboratories — under the supervision of qualified veterinary scientists and pathologists.
- Standard turnaround times are: clinical pathology (24-48 hours), RT-PCR (within 24 hours), ELISA (48-72 hours), microbiology and culture sensitivity (48-72 hours), histopathology (5-7 working days), and DNA testing (7-10 working days).
- Turnaround times are estimates and may vary due to test complexity, sample volume, re-testing requirements, or partner laboratory schedules. PVD will communicate any significant delays proactively.
- Reports are delivered digitally via WhatsApp and/or email to the contact details provided at the time of booking. Certified hard copies can be requested at additional cost.
- Clients may request a re-test if they have reasonable grounds to believe a result is inaccurate. Re-testing may be subject to additional charges and will require a fresh sample in most cases.
4. Pricing & Payment
- PVD accepts payments via UPI, bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), and cash. Payment is collected at the time of sample collection or upon report delivery, as agreed during booking.
- All prices listed on the website, brochures, or communicated verbally are indicative and subject to change without prior notice. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of booking.
- GST is applicable as per prevailing government regulations. Our GST registration number is 27AAKCP5159J1ZW.
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. If PVD is unable to process a sample due to internal laboratory issues, a full refund or complimentary re-test will be offered. Refunds are not available for tests already processed and reported.
- For bulk or herd health packages, customised pricing and payment terms may be arranged. Contact our office for partnership and institutional pricing.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content on pvdindia.org — including text, graphics, logos, images, and report templates — is the intellectual property of Pioneer in Veterinary Diagnostics (PVD) and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark laws.
- Diagnostic report formats, proprietary testing methodologies, and branding elements may not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without prior written consent from PVD.
- Clients may share their individual diagnostic reports with their veterinarian or relevant third parties for the purpose of animal healthcare. Bulk reproduction or commercial redistribution of reports is prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
- PVD provides diagnostic testing services to the best of its professional capability using certified equipment and qualified personnel. However, no diagnostic test is 100% infallible, and results should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical findings by a qualified veterinarian.
- PVD shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including but not limited to animal health outcomes, financial losses, or treatment decisions — arising from the use or interpretation of diagnostic reports.
- Our liability in all circumstances is limited to the fee paid by the client for the specific diagnostic test in question.
- PVD is not responsible for delays, data loss, or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, courier failures, or partner laboratory shutdowns.
7. Governing Law
- These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
- If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
